UKISA Outsourcing Conduct Manager

Job Description

A leading global insurance business have an exciting opportunity for a talented Outsourcing Conduct Manager UKISA  to join their dynamic team within the Consumer Lines business. This role is critical in leading the governance framework for their products across the UKISA region and overseeing the implementation, embedding and ongoing oversight of the broader conduct risk framework. The position will involve collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure their products meet regulatory standards and achieve fair customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Governance: Lead and maintain the governance framework for products, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and customer-centric principles. Oversee the entire product lifecycle.
• Oversight of Appointed Representatives and Approved Persons: Develop robust oversight and reporting mechanisms in collaboration with Compliance and Account Managers.
• Conduct Risk Management: Implement and manage conduct risk strategies, monitor trends, and act as a subject matter expert in the region.
• Outsourcing and Delegated Underwriting Oversight: Govern outsourcing arrangements and ensure compliance through audits and committee leadership.
• Regulatory Change and Policy Implementation: Manage projects related to regulatory changes and ensure policies are effectively integrated.

This role may require travel within the assigned region to support various projects. Flexible working options, including remote work, are available.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, or business administration.
• Professional qualification in compliance, risk management, or related disciplines is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable experience in conduct risk management, compliance, or regulatory roles, particularly in the insurance or financial services industry focused on the UK and Ireland. Experience in South Africa is an advantage.
• Proven experience in product governance and oversight of Appointed Representatives and Approved Persons in the UK.
