Portfolio Management Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Underwriting Performance Management

• Design and develop new management information (MI) to evaluate underwriting performance across multiple franchises.
• Maintain and enhance existing MI dashboards to improve visibility into portfolio trends.
• Support the migration of MI into a new system, ensuring seamless data integration.
• Conduct regular validation checks on underwriting portfolio data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly performance reports for internal and external stakeholders, including capital providers and shareholders.

Business Planning

• Develop, manage, and maintain business planning forecasting models for each underwriting franchise.
• Prepare and submit business planning returns for regulatory and internal purposes.
• Support the migration of business planning models into a new system, improving efficiency and usability.
• Assist in the creation of business planning materials for senior leadership, regulators, and capital providers.

Key Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, and/or VBA is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to present insights effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for underwriting teams and senior leadership.
